It all began in high school back in the 70's where my good friend, Daryl Thompson, and I played as a folk duo, writing much of our own material. During this time a local band in Burlington called "Fearless Frank" ,comprising of Tom Forsythe, Brian Bennie, Bob Kirkpatrick, and Larry Potvin, asked Daryl and I to join them. These were some of the most amazing musicians I have ever had the honour to play with. Unfortunately after one gig the band broke up. A few years later a duo, made up of myself and my now ex-wife Shirley, was formed called "TNT". We entertained for a number of years before Shirley decided to leave the duo. It was then that I decided to strike out on my own, and I haven't looked back since. I played for many years on my own but it was starting to wear me down. I needed a change. When Garry Munn asked me join a band with himself, Bob Reading, and Chris Nemeth (later to be replaced by Mike Mutch) , I agreed and "Circular Impressions" was born. It was so much fun having the comraderie of a band but after three and a half years, I decided to return to my solo career and I have been playing ever since. I have learned so much along the way and I continue to learn, striving to improve all the time. I owe a great debt to all the previously mentioned musicians as I would not be where I am today if it were not for them. A heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone I have played with over the years and for all they have taught me..
